Client: An innovative US-based company specializing in collegiate sports data management.
Business Goals: The client aimed to revolutionize the way collegiate football player data is managed and utilized. Their objective was to build a comprehensive, user-friendly database for football staff at various colleges. This database would serve as a centralized platform, facilitating the tracking and recruitment of football players seeking to transfer colleges. The ultimate goal was to create a tool that saves time and resources for college football staff, while providing accurate and easily accessible data.
The primary challenge was the client’s lack of detailed project documentation or wireframes, combined with their limited experience in software development. They required a sophisticated, database-driven web application with specific features like filterable, sortable, and searchable database options, custom column calculations, user-specific customizations, and robust admin control over user permissions. The project demanded a high level of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to translate the client’s ambitious ideas into a practical, efficient application.
